While perusing Flickr, I came across the fabulous photos posted by olga-saglo. She posted images from "Carnival of Blood" which I remember seeing years ago on a low-rent local cable channel. I remembered doodling the "Fried Shrimp Lady" while watching that cinematic masterpiece. flickr.com/photos/61516675@N00/2492783673/in/set-72157600… I managed to dig out the sketchbook in question, and here is my sketch of the "Fried Shrimp Lady" from 1985 along with doodles of a monster and a Jerry Reed/Conway Twitty-looking Elvis impersonator.

While perusing Flickr, I came across the fabulous, junk culture obsessed photos posted by Olga Saglo. She posted images from Carnival of Blood which I remember seeing years ago on a low-rent local cable channel. I remembered doodling the Fried Shrimp Lady while watching that cinematic masterpiece. I managed to dig out the sketchbook in question, and here is my sketch of the Fried Shrimp Lady from 1985 along with doodles of a monster and a Jerry Reed/Conway Twitty-looking Elvis impersonator.

Drawn in a Strathmore sketchbook with technical pens.
