Wood Grain Bow Tie

Another idea of what to do with fabric scraps – make a bow tie! This is my first “clip-on” tie. I had a hard time finding the hardware, so imagine my surprise when I walked into Fleishman’s in Queen Village, and they had exactly what I needed for less than two dollars! I’d like to give them a shout out, they’ve been in business for over 75 years, and the folks who work there couldn’t be more helpful or friendly! I’ll be working on a bow tie tutorial in the near future, since we’re approaching the holidays when festive occasions abound!
