Two Boys and Another Dog

Similar to last week’s shot, here is another photograph of John, Jr. and Henry O. Capewell taken by their father John B. Capewell of Westville, New Jersey.

This looks to be an earlier shot than last week’s. Henry is shorter than his older brother, and it looks to be a different dog.

Here is the entire  negative:

It looks to have been shot on a Fall or Winter day in their yard in Westville.

As with all of the photographs in the Capewell Collection Glass Negative Collection, I placed this 5″ x 7″ glass negative on a lightbox and shot it with a digital camera locked down on a tripod. The “processing” was done digitally on a Mac using Adobe Photoshop.

Hello Joe; Notice how obedient The dog is. Not a bit of blur in the shot. Jim

Jim, he’s definitely a good dog!
