The Photo Elective – The Broadway Deli

Broadway DeliBack in the 1980s, I went to art school, and I along with all of the other illustration majors were required to take a course in photography. In order to finish off a roll of film so I could process it in school, I would snap off a frame here and there that weren’t necessarily involved in the assignment. This was shot from a bus window as I was commuting between Philadelphia, PA and Westville, NJ where I lived with my family. This is similar to another shot I posted recently. The photo is nothing to write home about, but it did capture a place altered by the inexorable march of time.
