Bow Tie for Easter

BirdBowTie

On Sunday, I made the boy a new bow tie for Easter. I’ll stash it in his basket among the peanut butter eggs, Marshmallow Peeps, and jelly beans – where it will be roundly ignored until he has sufficiently ingested enough sugar to the point of twitching.

Start to finish, this tie took about forty five minutes to make and is a great way to use up those small scraps you can’t bear to part with in your fabric stash. If you’re interested in making a bow tie, there’s a tutorial here.
