Poe-school-detailI spotted this fabulous architectural ornament while on one of our South Philly Safaris.

This is one of the fabulous ornaments on the walls of what was once the Edgar Allen Poe public school located at 2136 W Ritner Street in South Philadelphia. It is now the Girard Academic Music Program.
