Christmas Ornaments

We got our tree on Sunday, it’s always fun to unpack the ornaments we’ve collected over the years. One of my favorites is the red teapot in the upper left hand corner – it’s handblown, made in Germany. The handmade ornament floundered there after World War I, that’s when Americans mechanized the process.  Ornaments were mass produced, then sent out to other companies to be decorated – the largest being the “Shiny-Brite”.
