People constantly scour the Internet seeking the newest of the new. What I love about the Internet is that it is also a nearly infinite backlog of information. There is something for everyone, and something that may have been posted … Continue reading
I thought I was being quite clever when I came up with the idea for replacing my favorite but sadly exhausted Sketchbook from Heaven. My idea was to get a larger sketchbook and chop it in half so it more … Continue reading
Dad wearing a casual jacket (which was weird for the time being that everybody wore a suit jacket and tie everywhere) in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I cropped it off of this image, but ’41 is written … Continue reading

This post is sort of an addendum to my earlier post. It’s the digital cherry on my analog sundae.
More fun with Derwent’s water soluble pencils and the Sketchbook from Heaven.
After crowing about my new, favorite sketchbook recently, I decided to look for more of the same since I was tearing through the current one at a rapid clip. I looked at the websites of online as well as brick-and-mortar … Continue reading
Lately, I’ve been curling up on the couch, partially watching television and doodling in a cheap sketchbook with Derwent Dark Wash Pencils and some of the other booty I ordered from JetPens. It’s hardly an optimal drawing arrangement — the … Continue reading
