Datebook Cover

Datebook

Remember in grade school when we used to cover our books in brown paper? This datebook cover is a fabric version of that. I stitched together some scraps of fabric I had lying around in my studio, wrapped it around my hideously ugly datebook, marked the dimensions with a fabric marker and stitched along the lines. This is a quick project that you can make in less than an hour!

Thanks Nancy – these are some of my beloved, smallish scraps leftover from various projects (quilts, tote bags, my kitchen curtains) that I couldn’t bear to throw away!
