This was an ad similar to the ads that were regularly featured in comic books aimed at young entrepreneurs looking to fill their piggy banks or to score some really nifty prizes. This particular ad came from something called Junior Scholastic which was a classroom time waster from the 1970s.
It was filled with news and civics types of stories where kids could read while the teacher stepped out for a cigarette. This particular issue is from October of 1972 and featured a cover story about kids in Northern Ireland.
