Termini Bros.

TerminiSign

This bakery opened in 1921, and God bless them – they haven’t changed a thing. The neon sign outside, the wooden bakery cases, the original tin ceiling – it’s like stepping into a wonderful time warp. And their pastries ain’t bad either! If you find yourself in South Philly, pay them a visit – 1523 South 8th Street.

  1. I used to work there as a teen. I loved the father. He was older and was still working in the bakery. He would give me cream puffs and would give them to other customers. He was so generous. My husband’s grandmother was related to them.

  2. Great pictures, Tina!

That must have been fun – it’s such a beautiful store! Thanks for sharing your memories.
