Avocado Suzi

Food-Header-1

AvocadoCaviar

I’m making dinner on New Year’s Eve, and I thought I’d start off with something indulgent to usher out the old year. A ripe avocado, with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise, topped off with a spoonful of caviar. This appetizer used to be on the menu at Friday Saturday Sunday Restaurant – who, by the way, just celebrated their 40th year in the business – congratulations Weaver!

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • caviar of your choice

1. Cut avocado in half, remove pit, and peel. Thinly slice each half and fan on small plates.

2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and sour cream, put a dollop on the avocado halves and top with caviar. Serves 2.
