Inflatable Vermin

Inflatable Vermin

This inflatable vermin continues to make appearances at Broad and Spruce Streets outside of the Atlantic Building which once housed the classrooms of The Philadelphia College of Art. PCA has left the building and discarded the name a few decades ago. It is now known as The University of the Arts and will probably be named something else if somebody decides to pony up several million dollars from his or her personal fortune. Work is going on inside of the building transforming it into anything other than an art school and representatives from the local unionized building trades are taking umbrage with the folks doing work within.

I have a few questions:

Does the union rent or own the inflatable rat?

Is the company that manufactures inflatable rats a union shop?

Can anybody inflate the rat or is it a union gig? I’m trying to think of which local would handle that.
