Spent some time yesterday at our neighborhood pool with The Boy. I shot some photos, experimenting with a set of KOLA color filters. They can be used on any kind of camera. Rather than the KOLA filters, being some kind of fancy, modern digital effect, it’s a simple chunk of translucent plastic that is placed over the lens or flash of your camera. It’s a delightfully retrograde method of bringing an element on analog chance to modern filmless photography. Your results may vary, but then again, all results will vary depending on the color and placement of one of these filters.
