The Horror of Party Beach

The Horror of Party BeachOne of my all time favorite, so-bad-it’s-good, horror films is available in a beautiful, high definition transfer on Amazon’s Prime. The Horror of Party Beach is  the only beach party movie to have been made in Connecticut, and other than it’s New England location, it shares more than a passing resemblance to Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. I often watch Party Beach as part of double bill with it’s more famous knock-off as part of an Independence Day celebration, but it looks like Amazon added a lot of horror content for Halloween. Get in the spirit of the holiday with some schlock!

It is crap, but it looks like they had fun making it. According to the director, they made a lot of money with it. Of course that is when there was a strong drive-in circuit.
