Christmas Mickey

This isn’t the typical Truck Mascot in that the stuffed animal isn’t lashed to the front or grill of a truck, but it was close enough to count. Mickey was tied to the back of a landscaper’s trailer which was being towed by a truck somewhere in Southwest Philadelphia.

Yep, and somebody will be offended… sigh

I don’t think there is any offense given or taken. Truck mascots are a weird urban phenomena I’ve noticed for years. As people move and leave a pile of trash in their wake or the kids age out of the baby toys, there’s always stuffed animals that kids abandon and left out for the trash men. Truck drivers end up adopting the discarded toys and turning them into flying maidens for their trucks.
