Breaking out the Audio Cassettes

Breaking out the old CassettesLately I’ve been giving the internet radio stations and podcasts a rest in favor of the magic of analog tape. There’s a few audio cassettes sitting around work, and I bought a few more from home. The “portable” stereo I’m playing the tapes on is not the answer to any audiophile’s dream, but considering that the tapes are well-worn bargain basement remainders from decades past, they play fairly well.

One thing is for certain — cassette boxes were a whole lot more durable than CD cases which break as soon as you look at them.
