17th and Walnut

17th and Walnut 1981Here’s another Photo Elective shot taken of a reflection in a florist’s window in the vicinity of 17th and Walnut in downtown Philadelphia, PA. I took this photograph as a sophomore at The Philadelphia College of Art.

The Photo Elective

All students majoring in illustration at The Philadelphia College of Art were required to take a minor course in photography where the students would take and process black and white, 35mm images and make prints. I lived in and shot photographs around the school’s downtown Philadelphia campus. Above is a scan of the 35mm negative.
