It Came From The Sketchbook

The Battle of Sound Odyssey - 1980I continue to roll along with the Out of This World sketchbook attacking it with 2mm leads and various pencils on a daily basis. I don’t know what I’m going to do once I’ve exhausted this $3 sketchpad’s 125 sheets. I’ve been trawling the shelves of local Target stores looking for a replacement, but it looks like they are not bothering stocking them this holiday season. They are carrying some surprising name brand art supplies such as Strathmore which is a nice choice for any amateur or professional artist, but the cheap ones with the ridiculous covers are what works for me.

That is odd, unless they figure there is no market anymore…

I think that may be the case. Tina got the last sketchbook for me in 2017. Maybe kids have lost interest in doodling in the past 5 years. Other companies are selling sketchbooks, but as I said in the article they are just not the same.
