\"\"<\/a>Those viddles aren’t going to fix themselves!<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/em>This is one of a series of odd, indoor photos that John B. Capewell<\/strong> of Westville, New Jersey<\/strong> took indoors. I’m assuming he’s using some sort of flash to expose his glass negative. I’m wondering if he got a sudden urge to test out his photographic equipment and gathered whomever he could get to make the shot. Nobody bothered neatening themselves up. It’s more come as you are.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a>The woman on the left is in a number of these glass negatives . I assume she was Capewell’s Mother-in-law. Next to her is John B. Capewell who didn’t bother running a comb through his hair. Next to John is a little girl that is in a number of these shots as well. I assume she is a niece since I only have records of our photographer having two sons. On the right is John’s wife Ella.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>As with all of the photographs in the Capewell Collection Glass Negative Collection<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 <\/strong>I placed this 5 inch x 7 inch glass negative on a lightbox and shot it with a digital camera locked down on a tripod. The processing<\/em> was done digitally on a Mac using Adobe Photoshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n
