It was Agnes Moorehead’s birthday yesterday. Most people associate her with her character on Bewitched, but she had a long career in radio, stage, and on film. She was one of the original members of The Mercury Theater founded by Orson Wells and John Houseman and made her film debut in Citizen Kane. The following year, she got her first Academy Award nomination for The Magnificent Ambersons.\u00a0She also received Oscar nominations for Johnny Belinda, Mrs. Parkington, All That Heaven Allows, and Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte. If you have a little downtime and are looking to add something to your Netflix queue – I highly recommend\u00a0The Magnificent Ambersons.<\/p>\n
