\"Full-Moon-det\"<\/a>This is another picture I shot back when I was in art school in the early 1980s. Illustration majors were required to take a pricey photography course. As a sophomore, I didn’t know my ass from my elbow so I shot a bunch of pretentious crap and what I thought would get me through the class. The more interesting shots had nothing to do with the classroom assignments. I took them to simply finish off a roll for processing. I would take pictures of the big bad city of Philadelphia and places close to the campus of what once was the Philadelphia College of Art.<\/p>\n

This is a view of 13th Street looking North probably in the Fall of 1982.<\/p>\n

I walked 13th Street on my way home from work to see the site of the old Full Moon Saloon.<\/em> The awning remains, but sadly not the sign. It looked like the place was in between owners so maybe it will be the Full Moon<\/em> again.<\/p>\n
