I do work for a company that coaches executives. The company uses a number of techniques to make these executives more effective leaders. One of these techniques is the visual metaphor,<\/em> and that’s where I enter the picture. The client is asked to provide a brief three-step metaphor explaining where they were, where they are now and where they want to be. It gets handed to me, and I have to turn it into a three panel sequential illustration. Sometimes the metaphors are highly detailed, and other times they are nebulously vague.<\/p>\n
