It&#8217;s a custardy kind of pie without the pumpkin. Does that make sense? Probably not, but if you&#8217;re coming over for dinner on Thursday and can&#8217;t live without pumpkin pie &#8211; \u00a0you may want to bring one with you. That said, when you get here, you&#8217;ll probably have a slice of my Buttermilk Pie &#8211; just to be polite!\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 &#8211; 9&#8243; pie crust<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">3 eggs<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\u00bc cups granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">2 tablespoons all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">\u00bd cup melted butter<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 cup buttermilk<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 teaspoon vanilla<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tablespoon lemon juice<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tablespoon lemon zest<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\/2 teaspoon white vinegar<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"ingredients\">pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Preheat oven to 350\u00ba. Roll out pie crust, place in pan, and crimp edges.<\/p>\n<p>2. In a bowl, add eggs, sugar, buttermilk, butter, vanilla, lemon juice, lemon rind, vinegar, and salt, mix until well combined and pour into pie shell.<\/p>\n<p>3. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until set.
