I saw this Santa Beard over at Snazzle Craft and thought it’d be a fun item to have around the house for the holidays. When I made a sparkly silver turban<\/a> for my son’s Halloween costume a few years ago, that thing got worn for weeks<\/em> afterwards! This is a simple project – I used two pieces of felt, and some leftover ric-rack to tie it on – as I was fresh out of elastic. I sewed most of it on my machine, but you could hand stitch it too. The mustache I opted not to sew on – instead, I attached it using Stitch Witchery. So if you want your child to look like a garden gnome, you can find the template at Amanda’s site.
