\"it-came-from-the-SB-banner\"<\/a>\"speeding-primate\"<\/a>I was stumped for an idea for a Valentine this year so I sat with a sketchbook and hoped my pencil would do my thinking for me.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"pencil\"<\/a>My favorite mechanical pencil with the fabulous 0.9mm indigo blue leads didn’t do me any favors as far as breaking through my mental Valentine block, but I kept on wasting time drawing an angry\/anxious Mickey the Monkey<\/strong> in a hurry to get some where. It’s the procrastinator’s curse that has always dogged me. When working on an assignment, a doodle would invariably start in a corner and grow and grow until it steals the focus from the job that’s due. You should see some of the drafts for my high school term papers! Oh, well.<\/p>\n

Tina<\/strong><\/em> and I do plan on returning to our funny animal romance Monkey & Bird<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. There’s a chapter to finish up along with other stories to tell once we clear the decks of other obligations.
