1 – 10″ piece of ric ric<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nArrange the fabric face to face with the quilt batting on the bottom as shown in the photo above, pin together.<\/p>\n

With a fabric marker, measure and mark for the flap.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Sew down the side using a 1\/4″ seam allowance, around the flap, then down the other side, leaving the bottom open. Trim off the excess fabric on the flap.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Turn the cover right side out, use a pencil or chopstick to push the corners of the flap out. Turn the fabric on the bottom in, pin, and stitch across. Fold into place, and attach the ric rac 1″ inch down from the top. Pin into place, tuck ends under, and sew the sides up.<\/p>\n
