I like to think of it as a cross between pudding and a cake. It can be served warm or at room temperature, and is a great light dessert.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 tablespoons flour<\/li>\n<li>4 tablespoons granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>zest of an orange<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla<\/li>\n<li>4 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>3 apples, peeled, and cut into wedges<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons butter, cut into cubes &#8211; plus more to grease the pan<\/li>\n<li>confectioner&#8217;s sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Preheat oven to 400\u00ba. Grease a 10&#8243; cast iron skillet.<\/p>\n<p>2. In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, sugar, milk, orange zest, and vanilla. Add the eggs, and beat briskly with a whisk. Pour into pan, arrange the apples, and dot with butter.<\/p>\n<p>3.
