Another restoration of an old family photo, unfortunately, I haven’t a clue as to who they are. Since the handsome fella makes an appearance in several photos that I have, I’m assuming he is a relative. It could be\u00a0an engagement photo, since the couple is posed\u00a0on a Victorian courting bench. Courting benches let a couple sit together, just\u00a0not too close! Judging from the style of the man’s shirt, which looks like a J.C. Leyendecker ad for Arrow shirts, I’m guessing it was taken in the early teens. Scan of the original photo behind the cut.<\/p>\n
