Since it&#8217;s the 4th &#8211; I made my favorite fruit tart from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Frog-Commissary-Cookbook-Steven-Poses\/dp\/0940159732\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Frog Commissary Cookbook<\/a>. A light crust, brushed with melted chocolate, filled with a sweetened cream cheese, and topped with fresh fruit.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the crust:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/4 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1 stick of unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup granulated sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Pulse all ingredients in a Cuisinart until crumbs form.<\/p>\n<p>2. Roll out dough to an 1\/8&#8243; thickness. Transfer dough to a 9 inch tart pan. Press dough evenly on the bottom and up the sides of the pan.<\/p>\n<p>3. Prick crust with a fork. Bake at 350\u00ba for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden. Let cool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the chocolate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 ounces of chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tablespoon shortening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Microwave the chocolate chips and the shortening in 30 second increments, mixing after each addition until chocolate is melted.<\/p>\n<p>2. Brush a thin\u00a0amount of chocolate on the bottom of tart\u00a0shell &#8211; too thick and it will be impossible to cut. Refrigerate until the chocolate firms up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the cream cheese filling:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 eight ounce bar of cream cheese<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Combine all ingredients with a hand mixer or a food processor until well blended.\u00a0Spread over tart shell.<\/p>\n<p>Fruit topping:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups strawberries, slices<\/li>\n<li>1 pint blueberries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1.
