Above is a daytime shot of the Drake in Center City Philadelphia which I turned into a dramatic image in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affinity.serif.com\/en-gb\/photo\/\" target=\"_blank\">Affinity Photo<\/a><\/strong> which I call <em>Count Drake-ula.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The shot below was a <em>ho-hum<\/em> image but I turned it into an urban nightmare from the 1970s thanks to an image editor with the unlikely name of <a href=\"http:\/\/flyingmeat.com\/acorn\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Acorn<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Subway\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/willceau\/20725651428\/in\/photostream\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\" data-header=\"false\" data-footer=\"false\" data-context=\"false\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5759\/20725651428_f9f792a491_c.jpg?resize=600%2C800&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Subway\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>Below is the same photo augmented into a saturated nightmare thanks to <em>Affinity Photo.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"subway-color\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/willceau\/20291022844\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\" data-header=\"false\" data-footer=\"false\" data-context=\"false\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5640\/20291022844_aa4cddc5e5_c.jpg?resize=600%2C800&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"subway-color\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a number of less than great photos shot with point-and-shoot cameras, and I decided to have a little fun exploring the possibilities of image editors other than Adobe&#8217;s Photoshop.
