\"woltzer\"<\/a>I came upon this fantastic memorial during a stroll through Fernwood Cemetery<\/em><\/a> in Lansdowne, PA just outside of the Philadelphia city limits.<\/p>\n

Sadly, I couldn’t find much on the late Herman Wolter<\/em> despite the heroic monument. I found only a smattering of information on the internet. There was a comment on the Weird US<\/em><\/a> site claiming “he was a diver in the Philadelphia and Delaware River region,”<\/em> and “he was one of the forefathers in underwater exploration and diving.”<\/em><\/p>\n
