I used up the leftover cream cheese in the fridge, and the brown spotted bananas on the kitchen table. The result is this delicious bread, moist and studded with strawberries!\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 tablespoons butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>4 ounces cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup mashed bananas (about 2 small)<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00ba. Grease and flour a 8.5 x 4.5 x 3 inch loaf pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and cream cheese together. Slowly add the sugar, beating until well combined, then add the egg.<\/li>\n<li>In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder together. Add the flour to the butter\/cream cheese mixture in three batches, mixing until just combined. Add the vanilla extract and bananas, then fold in the strawberries.<\/li>\n<li>Pour batter into loaf pan, and smooth out the top with a rubber spatula. Bake for 1 hour, test with a toothpick.
