It&#8217;s the digital cherry on my analog sundae.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This morning I was playing with a hand-drawn doodle featured in <a href=\"http:\/\/willceau.com\/news\/2017\/03\/09\/rumble-in-the-record-store\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rumble in the Record Store<\/a>. I always meant to have a logo on my mutant monster&#8217;s tee-shirt, but I wasn&#8217;t sure how to go about it. I was considering painting it out in a liquid frisket\/resisting fluid; work up the drawing and then peel the frisket off leaving a logo sort of like tan lines. Nah! I went back to pixels for this solution.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"21832\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/willceau.com\/news\/2017\/03\/11\/which-one-is-pink\/affinity-designer-screenshot-pz\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/willceau.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Affinity-Designer-screenshot-PZ.jpg?fit=540%2C338&amp;ssl=1\" data-orig-size=\"540,338\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-title=\"Affinity-Designer-screenshot-PZ\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/willceau.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Affinity-Designer-screenshot-PZ.jpg?fit=540%2C338&amp;ssl=1\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21832\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/willceau.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Affinity-Designer-screenshot-PZ.jpg?resize=540%2C338&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/willceau.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Affinity-Designer-screenshot-PZ.jpg?w=540&amp;ssl=1 540w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/willceau.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Affinity-Designer-screenshot-PZ.jpg?resize=300%2C188&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/>The drawing was already scanned so I\u00a0 brought it into <em>Affinity Photo<\/em> and merged it with a logo I cobbled together in <em>Super Vectorizer<\/em> and <em>Affinity Designer.<\/em> I placed the logo; rasterized it; liquefied it and played with various layer blending modes. <em>Voila!<\/em> Now my two-headed nightmare from High School is complete with a tee-shirt graphic!<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately when this story is finished, it will be laid out digitally. There is no way to avoid it in this day and age.
