\"\"Being that my inexpensive but beloved Sketchbook from Heaven<\/em><\/a> will soon be exhausted, I needed to find a replacement. A small, landscape sketchpad roughly the same size was proving impossible to find. The only solution was to make my own!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I went to a local art supply shop and bought a 9 inch by 12 inch sketchbook that has some nice paper capable of taking both wet and dry media. I’ve used this paper before and was pleased with how it took both pencil and ink. I got a pair of wire cutters and snipped away a few loops of the wire binding and then proceeded to a local printer who has a large cutter.<\/p>\n

\"\"KA-CHUNK!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Where once there was one, there are now two! Two sketchbooks <\/em>in a cinematic format. Hopefully they will be worthy successors to the now unicorn-like Sketchbook from Heaven.<\/em> The paper in the new sketchbooks should take media better than the my current, soon-to-be finished favorite. Time will tell. Stay tuned!<\/em><\/p>\n
