Work continues as roofers scrape away the 20th Century modifications revealing what the building once was in the 19th Century.\"\"Eventually this is supposed to be part of a retail\/apartment structure that will dominate the Northwest corner of Broad and Washington Avenue stretching up to Broad and Carpenter.<\/p>\n

\"A&A<\/a>This is the way the train shed looked for decades. It was a shabby industrial building sitting on a trash-strewn parking lot. There is usually a resistance to change, but this will be for the better. The train shed will live on, and the block won’t be a vacant eyesore.<\/p>\n
