It&#8217;s a real workout-skip-the-gym thing.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, paired with thin spring asparagus, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes (thanks Bebe!), a little bit of cream and some basil, made for a fabulous dinner on Saturday night &#8211; accompanied by a loaf of seeded bread from Sarcone&#8217;s!\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>8\u00a0oz. mushrooms, sliced<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0garlic cloves, minced<\/li>\n<li>1 pound asparagus, trimmed into 1 1\/2&#8243; pieces<\/li>\n<li>1\/4\u00a0cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 chicken bullion cubes<\/li>\n<li>2 cups boiling water<\/li>\n<li>1 cup heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons basil, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 pound fettuccine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large saut\u00e9 pan, heat olive oil over medium high heat, add mushrooms, garlic, and asparagus and cook for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add sun-dried tomatoes and reduce heat to medium.<\/li>\n<li>Add broth to pan, let reduce for 10 minutes, add cream and parmesan.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce for 10 minutes and add basil.<\/li>\n<li>Add fettuccine to boiling water.<\/li>\n<li>Drain pasta and add to the\u00a0saut\u00e9\u00a0pan, stir well to coat the pasta.
