Miami Vice Monkey or Altered States by Joe Williams<\/p><\/div>\n

Once again we are looking in to the prehistory of Monkey & Bird<\/strong> with another drawing from the ’80s. Seems like I’ve been doing less evolved self-portraits of myself for a while. This was from a handmade birthday card I gave to a girl I was pursuing back when Miami Vice<\/em><\/strong> was the hottest show on television. Thankfully, she evaded my pursuit. She never really got my jokes anyway (not that they’re all that cerebral.) Besides, she would have been a lot harder to draw than Bird!<\/strong><\/p>\n
