I guess we were bad. Really, a lump of coal would have sufficed. But I guess the old boy was gunning for us. So we&#8217;re ringing in the new year with new pipes. Fortunately the guys digging up our pavement didn&#8217;t find any bones or archeological relics, or else some historic commission or a poltergeist would have prevented us from using the facilities in peace. It&#8217;s nice to be back in the 19th century again &#8211; we have functioning plumbing.
