It&#8217;s brushed with an orange syrup and topped off with an orange glaze. Good for breakfast, good for a snack! <!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/4 cup granulated sugar, divided<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs, room temperature<\/li>\n<li>2 oranges, zested and juiced<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon kosher salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup + 3 tablespoons orange juice, divided<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup + 2 tablespoons vanilla yogurt, room temperature<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 cup confectioners sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00ba.<\/li>\n<li>Cream butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, add orange zest.<\/li>\n<li>In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix 1\/4 cup orange juice, yogurt, and vanilla. Add flour and yogurt mixtures to the butter and sugar in three additions.<\/li>\n<li>Pour into a greased 9&#8243; x 5&#8243; loaf pan, bake for 45 to 55 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>While bread is baking, cook 1\/4 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons orange juice on low, until sugar dissolves.<\/li>\n<li>Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place on a wire rack. Spoon syrup over cake and let cool completely.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk 1 cup of confectioners sugar and remaining 1 tablespoon of orange juice, drizzle over cooled cake.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a lovely quick bread, sunshine in a loaf!
