I think that if comics were that price, I would have been warehousing the things.<\/p>\n<p>Of course in 1960 a dime went a lot further. A kid may have only gotten pocket change for chores. 10\u00a2 was probably a princely sum to a kid at the end of the Eisenhower administration. That&#8217;s what a kid got for mowing the elderly neighbor&#8217;s lawn or cleaning out the garage.<\/p>\n<p>It was before my time.
