This visual metaphor is a three panel, sequential cartoon that illustrates this client\u2019s current career state, a transitional state and a successful final state that sees the individual flourish in the company. Below is this man\u2019s description of his particular leadership challenges from which I derive my illustrations:<\/p>\n

FRAME 1<\/strong>
\nI\u2019m a scout looking for talent \u2013 like the college football coach.\u00a0 This is a searching image.<\/p>\n

FRAME 2<\/strong>
\nThis is a finding image.\u00a0 I\u2019ve climbed to the summit and I can see all the pieces.\u00a0 I have a great sense of clarity regarding both my purpose and the resources available to me.<\/p>\n

FRAME 3<\/strong>
\nThis is an image of having control.\u00a0 I\u2019m an orchestra conductor.\u00a0 I have that beautiful vantage point with everything under me and I can see the entire performance unfolding in front of me.\u00a0 I\u2019m recognized as the leader and I have control over what\u2019s happening, \u00a0and all is going well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
