Last night I had the opportunity to meet Jerry Blavat<\/strong> The Geator With The Heator<\/em> at Molly’s Book Store. He was there to promote his new book You Only Rock Once.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Jerry is a Philadelphia icon, according to his book “he was a teen star of the original Bandstand show, was the road manager for Danny & the Juniors,<\/strong> inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, his circle of friends reads like a who’s who of American entertainment, and has enjoyed a fifty year career as a deejay and TV host.”<\/em><\/p>\n
