It got it&#8217;s name from a teenaged girl named Renny Powell who took second place in the junior division of a Pillsbury baking contest. She cleverly referred to the cake as \u201cBoy Bait\u201d for its habit-forming effect on young men. Yep, it&#8217;s that good! <!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs, separated<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>3 cups blueberries, coated with flour<\/li>\n<li>zest of 1 lemon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Glaze:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup confectioner&#8217;s sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons lemon juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00ba, grease a 9&#8243; x 13&#8243; pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and butter. Reserve 3\/4 cup for use as topping.<\/li>\n<li>Add baking powder, salt, milk, egg yolks, vanilla, and lemon zest the large bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, and fold it into the batter. Pour into prepared pan.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with blueberries, and then the topping.
