Well, far be it from me to disagree with the United Nations,<\/em> Children’s Day is celebrated around this house 364 days a year. The exception being Mother’s Day, that glorious day when I don’t have to wash dishes and<\/em> I get to order Kung Pao Beef and spring rolls for dinner from my neighborhood, maximum security, Chinese takeout restaurant.<\/p>\n

Well, enough about me, let’s get back to the cake! We’ve already established the fact that I won’t be ordering this cake or any other for my crumb snatcher on the 20th. But I’m thinking there are other occasions one could use this cake. My friend John suggested it would be an appropriate way to celebrate your first colonoscopy. Or perhaps the perfect confection to indulge in when you make a killing in a slip and fall settlement.<\/p>\n

Of course, I don’t know how happy a child would be after consuming that much frosting and food coloring. Chances are real good that a kid would either be climbing the walls like a strung out hophead at rehab or giving the parish priest the pea soup treatment.
