I still like and use wooden pencils, and I want to get another one, but it won&#8217;t be electric. I&#8217;m looking around eBay for a vintage, hand-crank, American-made sharpener. One that&#8217;s older than me and will outlive me. It doesn&#8217;t have to have wood grain.<\/p>\n<p>I almost killed it back in art school when I had a course that pushed the use of Prismacolors. The wax-based leads stuck to the blades of the sharpener and nearly choked it to death. I was able to take it apart and clean it up.
