This was my first paying freelance job. It was an illustration for the Jewish Exponent<\/em><\/strong> accompanying an article that had something to do with what the former hippies were up to 20 years after the hippie era. Essentially, they told me what they wanted, and I gave it to them. That’s why they have love beads wrapped around their waists which never did make any sense to me. I wasn’t going to argue. It was my first gig, and it paid better than the\u00a0 Welcomat.<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n
