\"\"<\/a>We’re back with another glass negative by the water shot about 100 or so years ago by John B. Capewell<\/strong> of Westville, New Jersey. I’m not sure where this was shot. Capewell travelled with his camera in tow, and I have negatives as far North as Niagara Falls<\/a> and as far South as Virginia. I’m hoping some eagle-eyed reader out there can supply an answer or at least an educated guess. There’s no markings I can see on the building by the train tracks or the factory in the background to offer any clues.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As with all of the photographs in the Capewell Collection,<\/a> I placed the 5\u00e2\u20ac\u00b3 x 7\u00e2\u20ac\u00b3 glass negative on a lightbox and shot them with a digital camera locked down on a tripod. The \u00e2\u20ac\u0153processing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/em> was done digitally on a Mac using Adobe Photoshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n
