Pictured above is John B. Capewell of Westville, New Jersey wedged into a kiddie car and holding his two sons, John Jr. and Henry O. Capewell. Henry, the younger of the two boys, was born in 1908 so this photograph could have been shot around 1912 or 1913
I chose this picture because it looks to be the same house that was featured in last week’s post. My guess is that it’s Capewell’s house which was on Broadway in Westville. Below is the entire negative and a better look at the house.
As with all of the photographs in the Capewell Collection Glass Negative Collection, I placed this 5″ x 7″ glass negative on a lightbox and shot it with a digital camera locked down on a tripod. The “processingâ€Â was done digitally on a Mac using Adobe Photoshop.
