As I de-clutter, I uncover an alarming number of membership cards for various defunct fan clubs. The one below is for FOOM also known as Friends Of Old Marvel. 
Membership in FOOM came with a magazine that came out once in a blue moon which I cherished. The initial membership kit came with some glue-backed paper stickers, the membership card and a poster by Jim Steranko.
Notice something? No Wolverine! This was before The X-Men’s relaunch, and the only mutant represented is Angel.
I always thought the poster was kind of lame. It seems that Steranko spent most of his time rendering The Black Widow and rushing the rest.
It didn’t matter. I cherished it all, and practically camped out by the mailbox until the next issue of FOOM came out.
